Happy news from St. Thomas, where our team is working hard to end child marriage (hey, someone’s gotta do it!).
Bill #33-0109, sponsored by Sen. Javan James, was released unanimously from the first committee today — after passionate testimony from advocates including our Fraidy Reiss. One more hearing and and one full session to go before the bill goes to the governor’s desk.
