GRADE 9 CHIRUNDU GIRL ATTEMPTS SUICIDE OVER A BOYFRIEND
Police in Chirundu have confirmed that a 14 years old girl at the border attempted to kill herself after she caught her boyfriend red-handed in bed with her best-friend/classmate. Police say the young girl was quickly rescued by workers at Aunt Lontia Truck Park after she tried to commit suicide by jumping off a water tank-stand near the Truck Park.
Fortunately, she was found just before she could jump off the tank stand. The girl was identified and taken to the police station.
This incident happened this week on Thursday around 17:00 hours and was confirmed by the Chirundu Council Chairman Mr Sianduba.
The girl said she could not contain the anger and disappointment of seeing the man who broke her virginity doing it with her best friend.
Police say the girl needs clinical counselling before she is released as she can still attempt to kill herself as she is extremely grieved with what her man and best-friend did to her.
