ending child marriage
We gathered at Middlesex County College on a gorgeous, cool September evening to watch the award-winning documentary film Knots: A Forced Marriage Story and raise money to fight forced and child marriage in the U.S. — all from the pandemic-proof safety of our cars.
Our drive-in movie — sponsored by DLA Piper, Columbia Bank and the Unchained At Last Board of Directors — was a success. Everyone enjoyed a compelling film featuring forced marriage survivors from across the U.S., including our Fraidy Reiss, and we more than doubled our fundraising goal to continue our national movement against the human rights abuses examined in the film: forced and child marriage in the U.S.
