One step to Stop Child Marriage

Dr. Shambhunath Singh Research Foundation jointly with its partner organization Child Rights and You (CRY) and the Department of Fine Arts, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth A total of 41 students took part in the workshop organized under the aegis of the ill effects of child marriage on the sheeting – malnutrition, maternal-child, child and bride trafficking, early pregnancy].

Initially, the General Secretary of the institution, Mr. Rajiv Kumar Singh and Program Director Dr. Roli Singh developed their vision by making all the students aware of the vicious cycle of child marriage and its far-reaching consequences.

Under the guidance of Prof. Manjula Chaturvedi, Chairperson of the Department of Fine Arts, in conjunction with Vice-President Dr. Sunil Vishwakarma, the students produced extremely attractive posters, which will be exhibited at the Smriti Bhavan on September 28.

The program was conducted by Su Sri Annapurna and Priyanka Kushwaha proposed vote of thanks.
