AU Campaign to End Child Marriage in Africa
During one of the parallel sessions from the 2 African Girls Summit, examples were provided for both South Sudan and Somalia where girls had joined violent groups as a means to support themselves after fleeing child marriage. There is a need to provide child marriage survivors with access to education and security, they have a right to health and development!
