POLICE COMMISSION RELATIONS WITH THE CDF TO END THE SECRETARY ACTS.
In response to acts of violence against Women and Children, Police Commissions from Mainland Tanzania and the Islands have called on the public to expose violence against children and women so that strict legal action can be taken against the perpetrators.
This was said immediately after the Child Protection Officer From CDF. Sophia Temba when he informed the commanders about the various tasks performed by the CDF in protecting children. In addition Mrs. Sophia Temba added that Referral of Child and Child Sexual Assault Police Officers and other tasks as well as delays in reporting child maltreatment incidents remains a challenge in bringing about effective child protection.
