CDF spearheaded two days of girls & young women training on advocacy, community outreach, sexual reproductive health rights and child protection to 30 young mothers from Mpwapwa Town and Berege Wards in Mpwapwa District. The young women acquired key skills and knowledge on SRHR to enable them to make informed choices with regard to their sexuality and sexual health and to identify and report cases of child abuse to relevant authorities (referral mechanisms). Moreover, the skills and knowledge gained on advocacy will allow them to address and voice out issues that are affecting their lives through advocacy action plans they have developed.
