Girls Not Brides for End Child Marriage
“I want to get married but only when I’m old enough. I’d say to those girls who get married in their childhood: okay you tied the knot, but what else is it that you’ve achieved?” ✨
At 15-years-old, Fatimazzehra is certain that she doesn’t want to marry early. She takes part in a girls empowerment programme run by Project Soar who are working to combat early marriage and motherhood in Morocco.
During the programme, girls discuss their right to be free from sexual violence, forced and early marriage and motherhood.
