Tanzania Ending Child Marriage Network – TECMN
The Five days training of MenCare in Kibakwe Ward, Mpwapwa District in Dodoma Region.
The Training started on Monday 19th February has ended on a Friday the 23rd February 2018.
On Day 4 and 5 Participants learned on positive and skillful parenting practices (including Africa's indigenous parenting skills). They also had an opportunity to develop their action plan on how they will raise awareness and educate other community members on ending domestic violence, promote gender equality, access to Sexual Reproductive Health services and men's involvement in the care of mother and baby, including care and support during pregnancy. They will also train community members on positive disciplining focusing on the principle of do no harm.
