End Child Marriage Malaysia
“Among the amendments to the Child Act 2001 are increasing the penalties for offences like mistreatment, neglect, abandonment or exposing the child (to harm), which is a maximum jail term and fine.”
It is given that there is efforts to make the Child Act 2001 comprehensive, but why is it that there is no mention of punishment for those involved in child marriage?
