CDF was pleased to have hosted 3 Swedish MPs namely; Hon. Maj Karlsson, Hon. Linda Snecker, Hon. Karin Ragsjo and 2 interns; Evelina Largnen and Alexandra Hallqriot from the Embassy of Sweden who paid a visit to our office on 3rd November 2017, to learn about CDF works of promoting children’s’ rights and gender equality. The visitors also got a chance to learn about the status of girls’ rights in Tanzania including issues around FGM, men & boys engagement as well as human rights from invited CSOs directors who attended the meeting, CSOs invited included TAWLA Tanzania Women Lawyers Association, Network Against Female Genital Mutilation (NAFGEM), Dogodogo Centre Street children’s Trust, C-Sema, UMATI Temeke, Tanzania Media Women’s Association – TAMWA, Women’s Legal Aid Centre (WLAC), @CWCA, Lecri Consult , Anppcan Tanzania Chapter and Right To Play Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency Embassy of the Netherlands in Tanzania French Embassy in Tanzania FORWARD UK
