In an effort to continue to liberate a girl from violent acts especially child marriage and early pregnancy; The CDF convened the Executive Directors of the 30 Societies involved in Protecting and Promoting Children’s Rights in Tanzania on 19/10/2017 at a conference hall at the Seashells Hotel.
The conference focused on discussing the current state of girl child rights by focusing on various issues including law enforcement and child protection policies, the media’s contribution to providing education on issues of early pregnancy. and childhood marriage as well as the importance of including boys and men in opposing childhood marriages and sexual violence.
Speaking immediately after the meeting the CEO of the CDF Organization, Ndg. Reporting Customer he said; ‘The conference resolved the existence of a joint effort between organizations to address child marriage practices, early pregnancy and sexual violence as all stakeholders must work together to build a Tanzania where children live in an environment of dignity and well-being. baby. ‘
