Our logo represents the struggles of a child forced into marriage at an early age. An age where the child has yet to understand his/herself. The child is trapped within this confounding space called marriage (symbolised by the ring) , thrust into adulthood before he/she is mentally or physically ready.
Adolescence is an important transitional stage of life for everyone. During this period, biological maturity supercedes emotional and psychosocial maturity. So most may not realise that despite looking like a grown woman or man, there is still a child trapped within – in seek of support, torn between dependence and independence. The child needs attention and guidance more than anything else.
Our logo is a plea for support and a cry for help on behalf of child brides and grooms.
