5/8/2017 Early Childhood Abortion Network in Tanzania Tanzania Ending Child Marriage Network – TECMN provided training to the media on the impact of Child Marriage on society and on the nation as a whole. The course was opened by Network Coordinator Ndg. Mike Jackson Singles called on all the media to join forces with the Internet to raise awareness about educating the community about the effects of child marriage and taking action to end the problem. He added that men should be fully involved in taking the lead in opposing child marriage. The training was sponsored by TAWLA Tanzania Women Lawyers Association who are also members of the network. At the end of the training the media pledged to continue using their pens to educate the community more.
