Unchained At Last for End Child Marriage
Unpopular opinion: Netflix‘s #Unorthodox is a good quarantine watch, but, as evidenced by the experiences of our founder/ED Fraidy Reiss and many of our clients, the series drastically underplays the difficulty of escape from the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community.
#Unorthodox is fun to watch but not realistic. We’re disappointed that the series glosses over some of the abuses against women/girls in the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community and inaccurately portrays escape from the community as quick and easy.
