Tanzania Ending Child Marriage Network – TECMN
Happy New Month People!!
We have officially finished the first Quarter here at CDF its been an exciting journey here some of the few highlights of January.
January started off by TECMN meeting with Traditional & Religious leaders at National level discussing their role on ending child marriage specifically on advocating for the amendment of Law Marriage Act of 1971. Followed by a Men & Boys Symposium (BodaBoda) which aimed at equipping the young boda boda drivers with knowledge on SRHR and how they can engage their communities to safe guard these rights, and lastly the Capacity building for Media personnel which aimed at giving the media knowledge on child rights and how best they can protect these rights in cases of abuse.
