Unchained At Last for End Child Marriage
#VomitociousExcuses for #ClingingtoChildMarriage: “But let's say she's is in love!” For minors who are marrying willingly and for all the right reasons, waiting a few months to marry is at worst an inconvenience. If the relationship is solid and loving, it will still be solid and loving when the child turns 18. We've never seen or heard of a child who was harmed by not marrying before age 18.
We're not *denying* children the right to marry. We're *delaying* their right to marry until they are adults and can safely navigate a contract as serious as marriage.
