Ghana Ends Child Marriage

Working in accordance with the 3rd Objective of the National Strategic Framework on ending Child marriage in Ghana, Savanna Signatures introduced the “Going Global” program which is an exchange program between Ghana and the Netherlands.

Through this program, Savana Signatures created a platform to educate the youth on dangers associated with Child Marriage through Sexual and Reproductive Health Education.

The youth were introduced to topics like Building their self-esteem and confidence, Girls empowerment to keep the gender balance, and Sexual and Gender based violence.
They were also introduced to institutions such as DOVVSU, Savana Signatures, Marie Stopes, hospitals among others where they can report sexual violence as well gain access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Services.

Ghana without Child marriage is possible. Let us continue with our hard work in addressing child marriage by giving equal support to girls and boys' education.
