???? Through her fantastic work with Girls Not Brides – Uganda National Alliance Hope Nankunda supports girls to speak up, build their confidence and stay in school.
???? She has helped an incredible 10,000 girls to access sanitary pads, and has helped 7 schools to get water tanks. These are essential for girls to stay safely in school and out of child marriage.
⛰️ Her annual hiking events raise money to support disadvantaged girls and break the stigma around menstruation. She’s transforming girls’ lives in Uganda, and beyond!
Hope is attending the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York.
While she’s there, she’ll share the challenges faced by girls in rural Uganda with the international community & join forces with other inspiring advocates to end violence against women & girls.
