Tanzania Ending Child Marriage Network – TECMN
Children & # 039; s Dignity Forum – CDF today launched a campaign to raise awareness of the impact of early marriage, early pregnancy and FGM practices in Kitunda County, Dar es Salaa. The project funded by the Dutch Embassy in Tanzania has been launched by the Honorable Guest Hon. Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania Calm down Ackson and attended by the Dutch Ambassador Hon. Lianne Houben with various leaders and executives from Ilala Municipality and Ward. .
The main aim of the project is to ensure that communities in Kitunda County are at the forefront of eliminating and resisting FGM, early marriage, early pregnancy and gender-based violence that affect children. As well as ensuring that children especially girls recognize their rights and defend them.
Immediately after the launch, Deputy Speaker pledged to continue engaging with the Children & # 039; s Dignity Forum – CDF in their various activities aimed at defending and protecting children’s rights in the country.
